架空の企業「日ノ元重工」が開発した海洋探査ロボットです。

深海生物のメンダコをモデルとして作られており、深海から淡水まで幅広く活動することができます。

その可愛らしい見た目と性能の高さにより多くの人々から愛され、近年では海洋探査だけではなくさまざまな場所で活躍するようになってきています。

デンシタコは個体によりそれぞれ性格は異なりますが、日ノ元重工にいるデンシタコたちは明るく陽気な性格をしています。
